Start our coffee tour learning about the differences between a traditional and an organic coffee plantation. You will witness how an organic production farm looks and sounds in its interaction between the environment, plants, insects and birds. You will be able to learn about the history of coffee in Costa Rica at our Lecanto farm and the production of excellent organic coffee. Find out how the micro-organisms and the bio-inputs that are used to achieve organic production. Experience our micro mill and the first grain processing methods in which you will participate in the coffee harvest (during harvest time) while learning about the ecological function of plant and insect species in the coffee plantation. You will end the tour quietly enjoying a delicious cup of Lecanto coffee, or enjoying a delicious plate of healthy food, while appreciating the mountains and the city of San Ramón.
